ABOUT DOG PARK 1
York Dog Park 1 is an award-winning 1-acre private dog walking field equipped with a full agility course that you can hire for exclusive use for you and your dog(s). Our secure field has been developed with a 6ft deer fence and rabbit underground to fully secure the field so that you can let your dogs off the lead; allowing them to run, explore and most importantly play in a safe area. There is also a mesh screen built in-between the neighbouring park, so you can still enjoy the privacy and calm inside York Dog Park during your session.
In 2024, Dog Park 1 was voted North Yorkshire's Dog Field of the year, and we would love for you and your dog(s) to visit our park to find out why our customers love our park so much for yourself!
Alongside our private sessions, we also offer sessions for banned dog breeds in Dog Park 1. Our secure dog walking field gives you the chance to let your dog off the lead, run, play and explore our agility course in a safe area that you may not have chance to do elsewhere, because York Dog Park is a space welcome to ALL dogs. 1 Hour Individual Private Sessions
Dog Park 1 is open for bookings from 7.00am until 8.00pm, seven days a week. Our Dog Walking field is conveniently located in the pretty countryside Village of Knapton, 3 miles from the city centre of York. Easily reached from all areas of York just off the A1237 from the outer ring road.
When arriving to York Dog Park, make sure you follow the signs for Dog Park 1. Full details of how to access the field safely for you and your dog(s) will be sent to you via email when booking.
